Kait Saxton, Stepped Care Solutions

Biography

Kait Saxton holds a Masters of Science in Global Health and is a mental health system transformation leader with significant experience in large-scale implementation initiatives. She has worked in university, hospital, and not-for-profit settings, collaborating with a breadth of partners across many different sectors. Her approach is grounded in implementation science, partnership development and relationship building, and change management. She brings expertise in the areas of project management, system design, equity and engagement, and knowledge translation and dissemination. Kait is the Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Program Operations at Stepped Care Solutions – a mission-driven Canadian not-for-profit consultancy group that is committed to helping organizations and the communities they serve transformation their mental health systems. A key aspect of her portfolio is support of Wellness Together Canada– a free, virtual mental health and substance use health platform for Canadians. Kait also contributes to mental health system research and innovation endeavours. In addition to her role with Stepped Care Solutions, she is a faculty member at Conestoga College, where she is developing and teaching in the area of health equity and quality.
